Lorraine M. Authier
February 11th, 1926 - March 23rd, 2025
Lorraine M. (Paquette) Authier, 99, passed away peacefully March 23, 2025. Lorraine was born on February 11, 1926, in Three Rivers, to the late Oscar and Emelda (Laviolette) Paquette, living a life marked by dedication, love, and service to her family and community.
Lorraine was a talented seamstress and was renowned for her meticulous work. She also worked as a dedicated Avon representative for over 45 years. Lorraine was an active member in her community working tirelessly at local polls and with the Red Cross blood banks.
Lorraine was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, formerly St. Ann's, and served as the President of the Solidarity Committee and a Eucharistic Minister. She cherished the many trips to the Marie Joseph Spiritual Center with her family and friends. She was an avid reader and found great joy in a good book.
Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved husband, George A. Authier, in 1995, her dear son Richard Authier, and sisters Anita Hancock and Claire Ramadon. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Evans; grandchildren Peter Authier, Lauri Gentile, and Jeremy Shinkle; and great-grandchildren Tristan Shinkle, Everett Gentile, and Kyle Storey.
A Funeral Mass to honor Lorraine's life will be held on April 2, 2025, at 10:00 am at Divine Mercy Parish. Following the service, she will be laid to rest alongside her husband at St. Ann's Cemetery. Lorraine's presence will be deeply missed, yet her spirit and love will continue to guide and inspire those she leaves behind.
