It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Aidan Jay York, who left us on 03/15/2025 at the age of 28. Aidan is survived by his wife, Megan Brown; his parents, Joe and Aileen York (Clinton, MT); two sisters, Grace York (Las Vegas, NV) and Eliza York (Portland, OR); and many extended family members and friends. He also leaves behind his beloved pets: two dogs, Roger and Lady, and two ferrets, Danu and Fio.
Aidan was deeply passionate about his career as a Metallurgical Engineer with Nucor Steel. He took great pride in his work, applying his expertise to solve complex challenges in the field with precision and dedication. Aidan found purpose and fulfillment in the impact of his work, and he approached each project with a level of care and commitment that set him apart.
Aidan was also an innately curious person and had a love for technology. He was an avid gamer, where he formed many lasting friendships. He also enjoyed the art of 3D printing, bringing his imaginative designs to life with a dedication that reflected his inventive spirit. These hobbies brought him immense joy and were a big part of the unique person he was. Aidan enjoyed being in the outdoors with his wife, Megan, and their dogs.
A memorial service honoring his life will be held on 4/11/2025 in the Community Room at the Mohave County Library in Kingman from 3:30 pm-4:30 pm. The memorial will be informal, and all who knew him are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mohave County Animal Shelter or your local animal shelter in Aidan’s name.
