Evelyn J. Lujan born January 28th 1947 passed away March 16th 2025 at the age of 78. Family by her side at the family home. She was preceded in death by her father Elautero Lopez, Mother Rosa Padilla Lopez, Husband Jose Nick Lujan, Son David N Lujan, Brother Junio Lopez, Niece Contessa Alvarado, and Father and Mother-in-law Benito and Bernadita Lujan.
Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and great grandmother. She loved watching her great-grandchildren run and play. They brought her joy as did her grandchildren throughout her life.
She liked going out to eat with family and friends, going to the senior center and shopping. She enjoyed painting, drawing, crocheting, jewelry making, and doing puzzles. She loved her independence, being out and about town.
Evelyn is survived by her sister Clara Alvarado (Charlie), her daughter Lynette Lujan Gonzales (Lorenzo), Mike Lujan (Darlene), and John Lujan. Grandchildren Micah and Ilana Lujan, Loriah Gonzales Vigil (Joshua), Lynessa Gonzales Montoya (Joe), Steven and Destiny Lujan, Almendra Orona (Anthony).
Greatgrandchildren; Lucas Mora, Opie and Luna Vigil, Nova and Orion Montoya, Arianna and Azen Romero. Many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. Brothers and Sisters from Congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses Evelyn knew in death she would be resting until the day of the resurrection. Acts 24:15, John 5:28-29.
The Family of Evelyn Lujan would like to invite everyone to lunch at the VFW @148 Mills Ave Las Vegas N.M. @ 1pm on Sunday March 30th,2025.
