Patricia A. Rockstroh
March 20th, 2025
Patricia A. Rockstroh passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025 at the age of 70 after a brief stay in hospice.
Exceptionally intelligent and forward thinking, Pat was a trail blazer and entrepreneur her entire adult life. She was continuously thinking of her next business venture, and made a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Always business savvy, Pat quickly rose through the ranks at the Schweiger Employees Credit Union in Jefferson, and became its President at a very young age. She was the first female member of the Kiwanis Jefferson Chapter, and served as its President for several years.
Pat cherished her family and close friends. She loved hosting parties that were guaranteed to be filled with music, dancing and laughter; and her scrumptious homemade food was lovingly made from recipes dating back from multiple generations. Her goodbyes were always sent with "love you more!"
Pat had a lifetime love for animals and owned a multitude of all different kinds throughout her life. She treasured her beloved cocker spaniels, Arabian horses, peacocks, chickens and rabbits. Over the years she added various animals to her hobby farm with turkeys, geese, goats, sheep, donkeys and even had a llama at one time.
Once she retired from the credit union in 2000, her hobby quickly became her full time job and she expanded her dog business throughout the rest of her years.
Pat is survived by her long time love Bruce Calloway, favorite daughter Nikki (Chris), favorite child Dan (Amanda); the grandchildren who she adored and brought her so much joy: Leo, Carissa, Nathan, Karlyn, Jared, Juan and Brynlee; and many nieces and nephews who always held a special place in her heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ruth Bumbard and Ralph Reiter; her brother Albert, and sisters Carol, Mary and Jean.
A private visitation for close family and friends will be held at Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson on Tuesday April 1, 2025 from 4 to 6 pm, with a separate celebration of life to be held at a later date (TBD). In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that a donation be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society in her memory at https://hsjc-wis.com/donate/
