Peggy Jo Gerczynski was born on June 15th, 1944 on a farm in Poygen, Wisconsin. She passed away peacefully on March 21st, 2025 at the age of 80, after a long and difficult journey with Alzheimer's disease. Through it all, she never lost her steadfast love for her husband, Johnny, whom she lovingly called "Poppy." Together, they shared 61 beautiful years in marriage filled with faith, family, church community, and unwavering devotion.

Peggy's greatest joy was being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. If she wasn't surrounded with her family, you could find her laying outside sunbathing, gardening her orchids, fishing out on the boat, taking long walks with her dog, golfing, or baking exquisite cakes, pies, and eclairs. She was a proud Green Bay Packers fan, a woman of profound personal faith, and a role model for all those who loved her. Peggy could be described as selfless, fun, nurturing, faithful, and as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Johnny, three children, and eight grandchildren: Tamila Hennessy, married to Steve, with two children Nicole and Samuel, John Gerczynski, married to Kara, with three children Casey, Jessie, and Ashley, Scott Gerczynski, married to Suzanne, with three children Andrew, Katie, and Jake.

Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, located at 3050 N Hwy A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903, on Saturday April 5th, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM ET.

In honor of Peggy's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011 in hopes of finding a cure for a disease that affects so many families.
