Allison Marie Gardella
June 8th, 1970 - March 22nd, 2025
In Loving Memory
Mrs. Allison Marie Gardella, 54, of Oak Ridge passed away on March 22, 2025 at her home. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, she was the daughter of John and Nancy (Patten) Elkins and wife to Greg Gardella, who survive her.
Always free-spirited from a young age, Allison found enjoyment in art and travel. This led to her career as a flight attendant in her young adult life. She flew with United Airlines for 12 years before hanging up her wings to become a full-time mother. Over the past 31 years, she has dedicated her life to raising six children and being a dedicated cat mom. When she had downtime, you could always find her cross-stitching beautiful masterpieces or nose-deep in a good book. Always determined to become the most beautiful version of herself, Allison became a connoisseur of all things hair and makeup. On the rare occasion when she wasn't dolled up, you could find her getting dirty in the garden with her green thumb.
Allison is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Greg Gardella; her children, Madison Hamm, and Hannah, Nicholas, Zachary, and Lucas Gardella; her grandchildren, Jack, Addisyn, Emmilya, and Lilliana Hamm; her brother, Greg Elkins; and her parents, John and Nancy Elkins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alyssa Gardella; and her sister, Kelly Frye.
A celebration of Allison’s life will be held from 1:00PM-3:00PM on Saturday, March 29th, 2025 at Groometown United Methodist Church, 5005 Groometown Rd, Greensboro, NC, 27407.
Thank you so much!
