MacKenzie "Kenzie" Quinn Collins
June 25th, 2001 - March 22nd, 2025
MacKenzie Quinn Collins, who we lovingly call "Kenzie" was born and raised in Nampa,
Idaho, where she spent the majority of her short life. At age 23, her time with us feels unbearably short, but in those years, she filled our lives with love, laughter, and a kindness that was uniquely hers. From an early age, Kenzie was active, creative, strong willed and kind spirited, spending the majority of her younger days with her Dad, her sister Mylee and her Grandparents at their home. Kenzie had a special relationship with her cousins, who could sometimes even be mistaken for her siblings, growing up together, they shared an unbreakable bond. In school, Kenzie was a great student and also loved weekly skating sessions at the Roller Drome. Kenzie had a lot of friends, many people have shared with the family that above all else, Kenzie was a loyal friend. As an adult, Kenzie grew into her true spirit that was impossible to ignore-bright, caring, witty, pretty funny and a little daring. Her greatest joys over the last several years were her children, Avy Ana, Mathias, and Ezra. Kenzie also had a very special bond with her Grandma Deby. Their bond was unbreakable, filled with moments of tenderness, trust, humor and unconditional love. If you ever wanted to see Kenzie at her happiest, it was in those quiet moments with her kids or her Grandma, that love was effortless and abundant. Kenzie had goals that she had recently written down, a reflection of her hopes for the future. She wanted to pick up her Dad every Sunday for church, and spend more time with her children. She dreamed of quiet moments with a good book, sipping warm cups of coffee or tea. She wrote that she wanted to subscribe to a book site and keep reading and wanted to prioritize working out. She talked about writing letters to her Grandma Deb, a thoughtful gesture that spoke to her loving heart. And true to her vibrant spirit, she had fashion and makeup goals, always wanting to express herself beautifully. Kenzie touched the lives of so many, countless people from near and far were always rooting for her. Kenzie will be deeply missed but forever remembered by the times we all spent with her, either we were laughing or crying, and sometimes both, the moments are unforgettable, and she will be in our hearts for eternity.
