It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Margaret (Peg) Jeanne Ostrum on March 24, 2025. After a long illness, she passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband, Jim, by her side.
Peg, as she was known by those who loved her, was born December 3, 1943 in St. Paul, MN. She grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Johnson High School. She married James (Jim) Ostrum Feb 12, 1966.
Peg will be remembered for her deep love of family and friends, for always opening her home to others, her Christmas Eve parties and cake baking. She loved reading, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, evening games at the kitchen table, and watching the wildlife at their peaceful lake home. She was a grand matriarch and a force to be reckoned with.
