Tameka Denise Reed-Davis was born on February 19, 1978 in Muskegon, MI to Evelyn Turner and the late William Morgan Reed, Jr. Tameka graced this earth with her unshakeable strength, heart of kindness and a beautiful smile that would brighten every room she entered. Tameka loved to sing, going shopping, and hanging out with her family and friends.

 

She received her education early on from Muskegon Public Schools, until the tender age of 13. At the the age of 13, she moved with her family to Colorado, where she completed her education at Thornton High School. Tameka had a passion for track and choir. She excelled in her studies and graduated high school a year early. After graduating High School she went on to receive her certificate to become a pharmacy technician at Pima Medical Institute. Tameka had a strong passion for helping people. She worked for over twenty years in Healthcare Administration Management. Above all her joy was her family. 

Tameka left us unexpectedly at the young age of 47 on March 18, 2025. 

 

She leaves behind, her husband Jason Davis of Arizona. Two kids Khalia Davis and Nazir Davis, both of Chandler, Arizona. Her Mother Evelyn Turner of Aurora, Colorado.  Her siblings: Shanita Loudermill of Muskegon, MI. Kindol McQuirter of Muskegon, MI. Orlandus Thomas of Seattle, Washington. Marcus Thomas of Aurora, Colorado. Evelyn Reed of Aurora, Colorado. Mary Turner of Houston, Texas. Erick Reed of Muskegon, MI, and William Reed of Muskegon, MI. One special niece Laketia Thomas of Grand Rapids, MI. She also leaves behind a host of of family and friends. 

 

She was proceeded in death by her father William Reed Jr., Maternal and Paternal Grandparents. 

 

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Legacy Funeral Home, 1130 S. Horne, Mesa, Arizona.
