Rachel Elizabeth (Lee) Gerdon
January 13th, 1982 - March 22nd, 2025
Rachel Elizabeth Gerdon, 43, of Boise, Idaho, passed away on March 22, 2025, after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She was surrounded by friends and family at the time of her passing.
Born on January 13, 1982, in Waterloo, Iowa, Rachel was the eldest of five children of Cindy Fahringer Lee and Scott Samuel Lee. She graduated from Eagle High School in 2000.
Rachel had a deep passion for gymnastics and found great joy in teaching young children the sport. She was also her daughter, Taeylah’s, biggest cheerleader as she competed in gymnastics. A devoted mother and a loyal friend, Rachel formed deep connections with those around her. Her friends and their children became family to her.
She is survived by her daughter, Taeylah Gerdon; her many friends who WERE family; her parents, Scott and Cindy Lee; and her four siblings: Kathryn Maben (Aaron), Jonathan Lee (Meagan), Carl Lee (Jennifer), and Jeanette Bond (Matt).
A memorial service will be held at Summers Funeral Home, 3629 E Ustick Rd, Meridian, Idaho, on April 4th at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Rachel’s honor.
Rachel’s strength and kindness touched many lives. Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
