Francis E. "Frank" Beatty, Jr.

Francis “Frank” Beatty, Jr., a beloved recent resident of Gibbstown, New Jersey, and long time resident of West Deptford, passed away peacefully on March 22nd, 2025, at the age of 92.
Legacy
His life was a testament to his unwavering joy and appreciation for the simple pleasures of existence.
Frank is survived by his three beloved sons: Frank Beatty III (Beverly), James Beatty (Dorothy), Patrick Beatty, and numerous grandchildren Sean Beatty (Alyssa), Sherry Beatty, Brett Beaty (Stephanie), Ryan Beatty (Cheyenne), Rachel Beatty, and Alexis Beatty. He is also cherished by his sister, Geraldine Foster, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Frank’s military service was a significantly part of his life. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952, rising to the rank of corporal. After his military service, he embarked on a diverse career, working as a Teamster union tractor-trailer truck driver for the Food Fair Grocery Store Corporation; the Washington Township School District Administration; and the Mantua Township School District Administration before retiring.
Beyond his professional achievements, Frank found immense happiness in his personal life. He cherished spending quality time with his family, a priority that was deeply rooted in his strong Catholic faith. He also enjoyed various recreational activities, including visiting the horse racetrack, golfing, playing poker, dancing, and relishing the laid-back atmosphere of Summers in Wildwood, New Jersey.
Frank’s family was his greatest joy, and he found immense happiness spending time watching his favorite sports teams, the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, together. He also enjoyed relaxing at home, indulging in his favorite pastimes of watching television and reading.
Frank, known for his kind and generous heart and his outgoing personality, will be fondly remembered for his ability to connect with everyone he met. He genuinely enjoyed talking to people and would go out of his way to make everyone feel special, even if it was just a brief encounter.
Farewell Tribute
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Catholic Charities USA at www.catholiccharitiesusa.org
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at McGuinness Funeral Home with a religious service at 2:00 PM.
Interment will be at a later date.
