William "Bill" Ward, born on August 9, 1951, passed away at his home in Yuba City, CA, on March 25, 2025.
Bill dedicated his adult life to working for the railroad, a career he took great pride in and retired from in 2012 after decades of hard work and commitment.
Bill lived with enthusiasm, a quality reflected in his many cherished hobbies and interests.
He was a passionate baseball fan, an accomplished golfer, and an admirer of classic cars that evoked timeless memories and stories. His interests brought him joy and a sense of community with those who shares his passions.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy Ward; son, Wayne Ward; sister, Nancy Thompson; and brother, Shelby Ward.
He will be fondly remembered as a cherished grandpa to many. His kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends will remain forever in their hearts.
A life defined by dedication, joy, and meaningful connections, Bill's memory will continue to live through the love and gratitude of those who knew him.
