Pauline Washko Stewart, 83, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 in Mesa, Arizona.
Born on September 8, 1941, in Wheeling, West Virginia, Pauline was the only child of Theodore Paul and Evelyn Anna (Oswald) Washko.

Pauline earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, California.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 38½ years, Donald Ivan Stewart; her two sons, Richard Sherman (Erin) and Edwin Sherman; her two grandsons, Nicolas Sherman (Alex) and Tyler Sherman (Jayme); and her three great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Ainsley, and Lucas Sherman. She is also survived by her step-daughters, Laura Montz and Jennifer Montz; and three sisters-in-law, Quita Marie “Lily” Gilley, Patricia Hutchins, and Diane McClanahan.
She was predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Evelyn, and her stepfather, Billie Baxter.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mountain View Cemetery Chapel, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, Arizona. Pastor Lauran Merginio of the Apache Junction Seventh-day Adventist Church will officiate the service.
