In Loving Memory
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Debra Anne Fraser, age 76, of Columbia, SC, who passed away in March 2025, surrounded by her children.
Debbie was born on May 1, 1948, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to Elsworth and Ina Sohles. She was a beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend—known for her generosity, kindness, and strength.
Debbie dedicated the first part of her life to raising her family and later served as an elementary school teacher. In her final years, she poured her heart into loving her grandchildren. She will be remembered for always putting others’ needs before her own. As a devoted teacher for 28 years, she touched the lives of countless children. To her own children, she was simply the best mother in the world—someone who taught them the true meaning of unconditional love and what it means to be a parent.
Debbie is survived by her children: daughter Andrea Fraser Mundo; son Nickolas Thomas Fraser and wife Courtney Parks Fraser; and her cherished grandchildren Lillian Marie Fraser, Reid Thomas Fraser, and Ashton Anne Mundo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Reid Fraser.
The family will hold a private memorial service to honor Debbie’s life. We are grateful for your thoughts, prayers, and support during this time.
