September 19th, 1956 - March 21st, 2025
Tom Maciosek 68 of st. Petersburg, Florida and former Waukesha resident passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Gulfside health rehabilitation center.
Tom was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 19, 1956, to Roger and Jane Maciosek. Tom graduated from Whitall high school. He worked a short time for his Dad hauling fuel oil and driving dump truck. In 1978 Tom had a tragic car accident and has been in a wheelchair. As a paraplegic, this did not slow Tom down he raced wheelchairs and was on a wheelchair bowling team, which he was very good and traveled with his team. Tom was quite handy with repairs and did some electronic repairs out of his home.
Over 15 years he had lived in St. Petersburg Florida. He was very active in his church Northside Baptist Church. Tom loved his dog Zoe she went everywhere with him.
He is survived by brother John Maciosek (Janice) sister, Judy Grenz, sister, Jackie Barlow (Don) nephew, Zach Maciosek, nephew, Jake Maciosek, and niece Ashley Grenz friends and family.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Roger and Jane Maciosek sister Terry Maciosek and Nephew Michael Grenz Grandparents Ben and Hatti Maciosek and Clyde and Jean Schuler
A Celebration of Life will be held at Northside Baptist Church May 18th from 1-3 pm 6000 38th N. St. St. Petersburg, Florida.
