In Loving Memory of Ms. Bettie Lou Coleman
Bettie Lou Coleman, born on December 13, 1945, in Little Rock, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on March 30, 2025, in Winter Haven, Florida. She lived a life filled with love, warmth, and a deep devotion to her family, which she treasured above all else. Bettie, a dedicated homemaker, poured her heart into her family, nurturing and supporting them through all of life's challenges.
Bettie is survived by her two daughters Kristina Swift and Cheryl Hall, as well as her niece Vanessa Powell and her sister’s Phyllis Wright and Wanda Powell, her two brothers Charles Hawkins and Thomas James. We all love and will miss our Bettie Lou very much. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Bailey Cayson, Jordan Cayson, Kendall Swift, Austin Wilsman, and Chad Hall.
She was known for her kindness, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering strength. Bettie had a particular fondness for her beloved pet dog, Candy, who had predeceased her. In a testament to their bond, Candy's cremated remains will be laid to rest alongside her.
She inspired all who knew her with her generous nature and her profound love for those around her. A graveside service will be held in her honor at the Auburndale Memorial Park cemetery on April 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate her life and the lasting impact she made on all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we bid farewell to Bettie Lou Coleman, may her spirit rest peacefully, and may she be fondly remembered for the warmth and love she spread throughout her life.
