N. Scot Treadwell, 78 of Charlotte passed away on March 29, 2025. MrTreadwell was born on September 2, 1946 outside of Cleveland, OH to the lateRosemary REID Treadwell and O. Robert Treadwell. He is survived by his sister,Carol TREADWELL Hooper and her husband Will Hooper. And, his brotherDean Robert Treadwell and his wife Nancy ROBERTS Treadwell.Scot is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kathy Shera BUTLER Treadwell andtheir two sons. David Michael (Mic) Treadwell and his two children: WilliamWesley and BrieAnna Jean. And, John Scot Treadwell and his two children:Daniell Shera TREADWELL Daniel and Wyatt James McMurray. Greatgrandchildren include Selena Jade Daniel and Christopher Robin Daniel.Kathy’s family included her late parents Jean SHERA Butler and Rolland O.Butler. Also, her loving sister, Rachel Ann Butler and brothers Raymond O.Butler and Scott John Butler.Mr. Treadwell graduated from North Mecklenburg High School and the School ofEngineering at University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Computer/ElectronicsTechnology.Scot was employed as a Program Director for the Electronics, Electrical andComputer Engineering programs at Central Piedmont Community College. Hewas employed with Apple Computers as a senior Trainer and Technical SupportEngineer. He later served as a Service Manager for Millennium Technologies.A private family ceremony is planned. In lieu of flowers, a donation to theMecklenburg Genealogical Society, Post Office Box 32453, Charlotte, NC28232-3453 would be greatly appreciated.
