Michael Franklin Cochran entered into rest on March 26, 2025, at the age of 75.  Born in Omaha, NE into a career military family, relocating was a common event.  The family lived in France for seven years and Spain for 3 years, and in 1968, at the age of 19, he enlisted in the USAF and served honorably for seven years.  Upon completing his term of service, he pursued a career in information technology and became a computer programmer, working first for AT&T and later retiring from IBM.

Michael is survived by his three sisters, Teresa, Nancy and Sharon.  He loved spending time with his family and found joy in fishing and spending time outdoors.  Living in Tonto Basin for many of his sunset years, he enjoyed the slower pace of life and Lake Roosevelt was his home away from home.  Michael, a beloved brother and uncle, was a gentle soul, slow to anger and quick to forgive, and he will be sorely missed by us all.  Til we see you again, Michael, you are with us always in our hearts.  Donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Michael’s favorite charity, are welcome and appreciated.
