Frank Jacob Keller, Jr., beloved husband, loving father and grandfather cherished friend and leader, left this world to be with Jesus on March 19, 2025. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Monument, Colorado, from a cardiac event. While his family and friends are reeling from this loss that came far too soon, they take solace in knowing that he did not suffer. He spent his final morning sharing with his beloved wife, Susie, how fortunate he felt to have lived so long and to be able to have so many wonders in his life in the form of his four children, Christopher, Mark, Stephanie, and Morgan; their spouses, Julie Jana, Alex, and Mark; and his nine grandchildren, Ian, Chase, Ryan, Brayden. Aylin, Elijah, Isaak, Dawson and Jonas.

Frank was born on January 1, 1948, on an Air Force base in Riverside, California, the second son of Frank Keller Sr and Bing Keller. Alongside this three siblings, Don, Rich, and Linda, he grew up on military bases across the United States and England. When Frank was in junior high school, the family moved to Colorado Springs. Frank attended North Junior High and Palmer High School, where he met the love of this life, Susie. Through Susie he began attending a Christian youth group, and it was at that time that his faith journey with Jesus began, a journey that he continued on faithfully for the rest of his life.

On June 23, 1967, Frank and Susie married in Colorado Springs where they raised their family. Frank was a wonderful and loving father who took great care to invest in each of his children, showing that he loved each one just as they were. Later in life, Frank was blessed with nine amazing grandchildren, and he loved and cherished each one of them as unique and special wonders.

In his early professional life, Frank was an elementary educator; first in Colorado Springs District 11 for five years and then for 14 years as a teacher and principal at Evangelical Christian Academy. After he left his career in education, Frank worked for 21 years with Focus on the family, eventually becoming Vice President of constituent response. In his retirement, he volunteered extensively and served as a board member with Crossfire Ministries in Colorado Springs. Throughout all phases of his career he was a mentor for many and a kind and loving leader for all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, May 2, 2025, at Woodmen Valley Chapel Monument, located at 1681 Wagon Bow Way.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossfire Ministries: www.crossfireministries.org
