In Loving Memory
Bobby L. Carver, 90, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, in West Columbia, South Carolina. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of love for his family.
Born on January 10, 1935, in Newberry, South Carolina, Bobby was the son of the late C. John Carver and Louise C. Carver. He grew up in the heart of South Carolina and carried with him the values of hard work and dedication throughout his life.
Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), where he built a respected career before retiring.
A man of faith, Bobby was a longtime member of Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church.
Bobby is survived by his beloved wife, Doris Riley Carver; his daughter, Linda Shuler (Stacy); his son, William “Bill” Carver (Lois); grandsons, Mathew O. Shuler (Christina) and Connor R. Shuler; great granddaughter, Ava M. Shuler; brother, John R. Carver (Evelyn).; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C. John Carver and Louise C. Carver.
Bobby’s life was marked by quiet strength, unwavering loyalty to those he loved. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held on April 21, 2025, 2:00 PM, at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Rd., Lexington, SC 29072.
