Katie Ann Peterson, age 35, born in St. Paul, MN on April 5, 1989, passed away on March 26, 2025 surrounded by the family she cherished so deeply. Survived by son, Mason; parents, Mark and Pat; sisters, Amy (TJ) and Emily (Connor); nephews Emerson and Levi; niece Sophie; grandmother Donna Starr; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A beacon of love and joy, our beloved daughter, Katie, was a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a bachelor’s degree in finance. She continued her academic journey to earn a master’s degree from Concordia University which opened the door to a 14-year career at US Bank. Above all, Katie was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Mason, who was her greatest joy. She found happiness in family-focused activities, from deer hunting and fishing adventures to tropical vacations and treasured moments at home with those she loved most. She shared an extraordinary bond with her nephews and niece, Emerson, Levi, and Sophie – who adored her deeply. Katie’s radiant smile could light up any room, and she was truly loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Katie’s life was a testament to kindness, laughter, and unwavering dedication to family. Her presence will be missed beyond measure, but her memory will continue to be celebrated by all who loved her. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, located at 8260 4th Street North, Oakdale, MN 55128 on Tuesday, April 8th at 11:00am. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the church cemetery, with a luncheon to celebrate Katie’s life.
