Michael David Neu, 64, husband of Jolene Sanders Neu, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on March 24, 1961 to the late Emily Deatley Neu and Jack Neu. Michael was an expert and instrumental in the early development of cyber and network security spanning across multiple industries and global partners for over 30 years.

Michael's passions extended beyond the everyday. He found joy and solace in music, often attending concerts and immersing himself in the live experience. His competitive spirit shone brightly in his enthusiastic participation in fantasy football, and he was a devoted and spirited fan of the Dallas Cowboys, celebrating their victories and weathering their defeats with unwavering loyalty.

Besides his wife, Jolene, those left to cherish Michael’s memory includes his son, Adam Neu; step mother Sarah Hyden; Sisters, Deborah (Ron) Smith, Cheri Parker, Lainie (Jeff) Sidebottom, Raven Neu, Anna (Josh) Paulus; brother, Jack (Aimee Chasteen) Neu; Nephews, Jason Smith, Zachary and Dylan Neu, Jerry Miller, Ryan Parker, Jack and Spencer Sidebottom; nieces, Ashley Solomon, April Cannady. Michael loved and adored his many great and great great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his niece, Rebecca Blair. 

Visitation will be held, Monday, April 7, 2025 from 6-9pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. A short funeral service will be held within that time starting at 7pm or 8pm.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lexington Humane Society or St Judes Children's Hospital in Michaels name.
