Geraldine "Gerry" M. Frulio
July 9th, 1940 - April 1st, 2025
Geraldine (Gerry) Frulio, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother,
Sister, Aunt, and Friend, died peacefully in her home on April 1, 2025 at age 84. Gerry was born to Lorenzo and Mary on July 9, 1940, in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Gerry was raised in Jamaica, NY. There she met and married Francesco (Frank). Gerry was a devoted wife and mother. She followed Frank all over the country and overseas while raising four children, many times doing so alone while Frank served in Viet Nam or had other military assignments,
Gerry was a woman of unwavering faith who loved and served God throughout her life. She constantly served the church and others through many volunteer activities, even into her 80’s. Gerry provided a wonderful example to her children of demonstrating love and compassion for others through her thoughtfulness, generosity, and acts of service. Gerry was also well known for her great sense of humor and quick wit.
Gerry is survived by her children, Theresa Wisler (Frank), Lisa Stebbins (Todd), Frank Frulio (Sally) and Jerry Frulio; her grandchildren, Erin (Nate), Britney (JC), Anthony, Ryan and Cameron; and her great-grandchildren, Tristin, Ethan, Brooklyn, and Mia; and her sister, Doris Ripo.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Francesco (Frank) Frulio; her beloved Grandson, Nathan Raulerson; her parents; and her brother.
Gerry will be interred with her husband, Frank, at Arlington National Cemetery.
At the time of her death, Gerry was sponsoring three children overseas who were near and dear to her heart. Through a generous donation, she has made arrangements to continue this sponsorship until each of them complete high school.
On Saturday, April 12, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, in Viera, a viewing will be held at 9:30. The Funeral Mass will begin promptly at 10 AM.
To help celebrate Gerry’s life, the family asks that you wear something colorful in recognition of the kind of life that Gerry led.
