Mrs. Mary Ethel Paul, age 84, a resident of Lakeland, Florida passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. Mrs. Paul was born July 12, 1940, in Ashford, Alabama to William and Lizzie (Glass) Weathers. She was a lifetime Polk County resident and a Factory Worker in the Citrus Industry. Mary was a member of Heaven Bound Free Will Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school Teacher and Treasurer. She enjoyed yard sales, going to church, going out to eat with church friends and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Maxwell Paul; son – Maxwell Devon Paul; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Mary is survived by her loving family, son – Michael Paul (Cindy) of Lakeland, Florida; daughter – Beverly Paul (Patrick) of Fort White, Florida; 4 grandchildren – Sheridan Palmer (Kate), Kayla Wright, Dillon Paul and Andrew Paul; 2 great grandchildren – Alexa and Zayden. Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday, April 11th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
