Mrs. Betty M. Lay, 96, of Greensboro passed away on April 4, 2025 in Greensboro. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Ella Moore and wife of the late Joseph D. Lay.

Betty is survived by her children, grandchildren, and many close friends, neighbors, and loved ones.

In honor of Betty, a visitation will be held at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service, 300 W. Wendover Ave., Greensboro NC 27401 from 11:30AM - 12:30PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025. A brief graveside service will follow beginning at 1:00PM at Westminster Gardens Cemetery, Greensboro.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to a charity of their choice benefitting animal welfare.
