Catherine M. Bousquet

Catherine M. (Marhelewicz) Bousquet, 71, passed away on April 4, 2025, with her husband and son by her side at Baystate Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of David Bousquet and loving mother to her son, Marc Bousquet both of Bondsville, MA.  She is also survived by her brother, Stephen Marhelewicz, and his wife Diane of Palmer and her sister-in-law, Christina Bousquet of Wakefield, RI and three nieces, and one nephew. She was predeceased by her parents, Chester and Alice (Stachurski) Marhelewicz. Born on November 21, 1953, in Palmer, MA, Catherine grew up in Three Rivers before moving to Bondsville in 1980, where she lived for the rest of her life. She had a distinguished career as an Information Architect at MassMutual Insurance Company for 34 years, retiring in 2009. She was a graduate of Simmons College in Boston, class of 1975 and was valedictorian of her graduating high school class of 1971.Catherine had a passion for reading and found great joy in diving into her favorite books. She also enjoyed watching British murder mysteries and spent many fulfilling hours working in her beloved flower garden. All services will be private. The arrangements have been entrusted to Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children https://www.stjude.org or to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in her memory.
