Esperanza Fe Guanzon passed away peacefully, on March 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 29, 1950, in Salinas, CA. She was the youngest daughter of Segundina “Gunding” and Francisco “Frank” Guanzon. She is now with them and her older sister, Josephine “Hozi” Guanzon-Ringor is in the presence of the Lord. Esperanza was 74 years old.She is survived by her eldest sister, Frances “Fran” Hart. Brother in laws, Michael “Skip” Hart and Lawrence “Larry” Ringor. Nieces, Kathryn “Kat” Goltz, Larrissa “LaLa” Ringor and Gemma Ambrosio. Nephews Francisco “Icoy” Ringor, Airrion “Air” Ringor, Anthony “Tony” Carter and Dennis Goltz II. Grandchildren Binh “BJ” Long Jr, Stephanie “Steph” Ambrosio Devicente, Dennis “Boo-Boo” Goltz, Makayla “Kay-Kay” Goltz, Jazzlyn “Jazzy” Ringor and Maykayla “Kayla” Long. Great Grandchildren Lilo Kaaliyah Long and Binh Jeremiah “Jim-Jim” Long. Many cousins and many more nieces, nephews and relatives scattered across the U.S. and Philippines.Esperanza was better known as “Esper”, “Ping” or Auntie Ping, Grandma Ping, Ate Ping, Manang Ping and Grandma Bunny. She lived a full life and truly was an inspiration to many. Her smile was genuine, she loved to laugh and her personality was unforgettable. Esper obtained many awards, amazing letters of recommendation and honorable mentions. She worked at Conoco Phillips Gas and Oil company, in Houston, Texas, for over 35 years.Esper was proud of the fact that she chose and remained clean and sober for 31 years and 9 months. During those years, she continued to share her time, support, prayers, wisdom and handmade gifts with those in recovery. She made friends easy and so many of those friends became her family and ours. Another limb has fallen from our blessed family tree. She was loved beyond words and will truly be missed. See you later Javelina.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
