Joel Anthony Nielsen Loving Father, Son, Brother, and Friend. Joel A. Nielsen 48, passed Wednesday July 3rd at his Lochbuie home. Joel was born April 17, 1971 in Denver CO to Derald and Joani Nielsen. Joel grew up in Thornton, CO and graduated from Skyview H.S. in 1989, then joined the U.S. Army where he served his country for the next several years. Joel ran his own hardwood floor company and took pride in his craftmanship. He also spent most of his time with family and friends enjoying BBQ’s, playing games or just laughing. He always had a smile on his face no matter what he was doing. Joel was also an exceptional artist and cook. Joel survived by his (Princess) Tina Marie, Son- Joel Jr. Nielsen, Mother- Joni Nielsen, Brother’s- Shawn Nielsen, Chris Nielsen, Sister- Carrie Nielsen, Partner- Jennifer Serna, Nieces/Nephews, Family and Friends.
