It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alice C. Hardman on April 6, 2025, at the age of 63. A memorial service will be held in honor of Alice on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with a visitation prior the service at 1:00 PM. It will be officiated by her niece and nephew, John and Susan McDaniel, who will help celebrate the remarkable life she led.

Born on March 16, 1962, in Macon, Georgia, Alice graced this world with her vibrant spirit and caring nature, leaving behind a legacy of love and inspiration. Alice dedicated her life to her family and found immense joy in her roles as a beloved wife, devoted mother, and proud grandmother. She was married to her sweetheart, Ronnie Hardman, for an incredible 39 years. Together, they forged a friendship beginning in the second grade then a partnership built on love, laughter, and unwavering support. Alice’s compassionate spirit shone brightly in her relationships with her daughter, Lindsay Mikesch, and her cherished grandchildren: Aden Brown, Sai Brown, Reverie Hardman, and Emma Mikesch.

Alice came from a loving family that included her siblings: Madge James, Kenny (Patricia) Railey, and Marie (Chuck) McLendon. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Carl Railey and Alice Eathel Williams Railey, as well as her brothers, Donald "Buddy" Railey and Charlie Railey. Alice’s familial bonds were the foundation of her life, and she carried with her the memories and love of those she lost.

With a kind heart and an energetic spirit, Alice was known for her love of gardening and flower arranging—passions that allowed her to beautify the world around her. Her strong Christian faith guided her actions and shaped her character; she approached life with gratitude and a joyful heart.

In celebrating Alice’s life, we remember her embodiment of love, kindness, and the importance of family. She taught us all the value of nurturing relationships and cherished the moments shared—an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Alice’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will carry forward her legacy of joy and love.
