Henry McCann passed away on April 7, 2025, peacefully at his home in Mullica Hill, NJ surrounded by loved ones. 

 

FAMILY 

He was the eldest son of the late Henry McCann and Kathryn McCann (nee Pfeffer). He is survived by two sisters Marion Richardson and Florence Callen, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by four siblings Edward McCann, Richard McCann, Marguerite McCann, and Kathryn Yachimske. 

 

LEGACY 

Henry was born March 30, 1937, in Swedesboro, NJ. Henry recently celebrated his 88th birthday. He was diagnosed with cancer only shortly before passing being discharged from the hospital on April 4th to spend his final days on the farm he loved. He was a successor to his father, in a long line of farmers at the homestead established in 1918. Henry joyfully farmed the homestead until his final days. He was a parishioner of St. Clare of Assisi in Swedesboro and a devoted man of God. 

 

Viewing on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Saint Clare of Assisi Parish, 135 Broad Street, Swedesboro, NJ 08085 from 10:00am-10:45am, Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am.

 

Interment to follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Swedesboro, NJ.
