Brian Jordon Johnson
May 16th, 1996 - March 30th, 2025
Brian was born on May 16, 1996 in Chandler, AZ to a loving family. He always had a great smile, a big heart and a lust for life. He was joyful, had an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor. In his early years, he had an obsession with Wheel of Fortune and loved watching it every night clapping along saying “Big money, big money’. When he was little, Brian and his sister, Jamie loved to record themselves as broadcasters reporting the weather. As he grew up, he discovered music, specifically 80's metal bands. He enjoyed attending concerts, playing bass guitar and sharing random musical facts. One of his favorite bands was KISS. He was able to see them live with his grandmother, Cathy. The two of them attended the concert with painted their faces to match the band members. He also loved camping, fishing and mineral collecting with his family. He spent time attending numerous gem and mineral shows with his maternal grandparents, Walt and Cathy, cousin, Christopher and sister, Jamie. One time while camping, he found a baby rattlesnake and carried it back to camp! Brian was also very passionate about baseball, especially his favorite team, the Arizona Diamondbacks. He would spout baseball statistics to anyone who would listen. At 7 years old, he met is favorite player, Luis Gonzalez and proceeded to say “I saw you play last night and you struck out 3 times.”. Throughout his life, Brian’s wardrobe consisted of baseball jerseys, caps or concert t-shirts, supporting his favorite teams and bands. Rarely was he seen not wearing one of these. Recently, Alexis took him to meet some piglets. He was so enamored with them that he spent 10 minutes chasing them. He finally caught one, and the look on his face was pure joy. Brian also had an affinity for horror movies, Star Wars and Harry Potter. He loved posting random quotes and memes about them, and talking about the details with anyone. He dearly loved his children, Levi and Lexi. They were his pride and joy. Brian loved deeply and showed his love in so many cherished ways. He was a beautiful soul who left us way too early. He will be missed by those who hearts were touched by him.
He is survived by his wife, Alexis Vantlin, his mother, Amy Johnson, his father, Jason Johnson, sisters, Jamie Monson (Alyssa Monson), Kaleigh McKennie and Miranda McKennie and his children, Levi and Lexi. He also survived by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Cathy Johnson, paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Janice Johnson along with multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and his 2 puppies. He was preceded in death by his Aunt Cookie (Carrie Johnson).
Just like a star you will shine forever in our Hearts and Memories. Shine bright in heaven as you did on earth. We love and miss you greatly.
