Barry Dean Baldwin
April 17th, 1951 - April 6th, 2025
In Loving Memory
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Barry Dean Baldwin, age 73, of West Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Barry was born on April 17, 1951, in Columbia, SC. He is survived by Mary Anne Baldwin; his sons, Dean Baldwin (Angie) and Dustin Baldwin (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Tyler Valentin, Brantley Baldwin, Lilly Valentin, William Baldwin, and Graham Baldwin. He is also survived by his brothers, Darrell “Dink,” Larry, and Randy Baldwin, and his sister, Lynn Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bobbie Baldwin.
Barry had a passion for drag racing and could often be found behind the wheel, whether on the track or simply cruising around town – two things that brought him pure joy. His love for cars and the thrill of the ride were matched only by his love for his family.
The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 4 – 6pm.
