Jacquelyn Lee Stanat
July 27th, 1925 - March 17th, 2025
Jacquelyn Lee (Catt) Stanat, was born in Hobart, Indiana, on July 27, 1925, and was the first of seven children. She grew up there until she was 12 years old when the family migrated to Albuquerque, NM. Later in her early twenties, she met and married , Serviceman Raymond J. Stanat, who was in the Air Force and she embarked on the life as a military wife.
They traveled extensively throughout Europe and the United States. During that time they had 2 daughters, Carolyn and Madaline. After retiring in 1962, they moved back to Albuquerque where they both lived the rest of their lives.
Jackie had a wonderful life (99 years) filled with family and friends that she loved dearly. She went peacefully to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on March 17, 2025.
She is survived by her 2 sisters, Sheri Pomykala and Kathy Catt-Griggs; daughter, Madaline Jeys; grandchildren, Debbie Pena and David Pena, and Jamie Jeys. She has 15 great grandchildren and recently one great great grandchild who all call her “Granny”. She has many nieces and nephews and all their families who all called her “Aunt Jackie”. She loved us all dearly! She was a beautiful Christian Lady who loved the Lord. She will always be loved and missed.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 11:00AM, at Calvary-4001 Osuna Rd. SE Albuquerque, NM 87109.
