It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles R. Ringer, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Charles went home to be with his Lord on April 6, 2025, in Gaston, SC, at the age of 79. Born in Sharon, PA, on July 24, 1945, he grew to exemplify the true meaning of hard work through his many years as a dedicated carpenter.

Charles was known for his unyielding spirit and determination, always bringing a positive energy to everything he did. Whether he was driving dirt track race cars or cheering on his favorite Nascar drivers, especially the legendary Dale Earnhardt, his enthusiasm was infectious. He had a true love for life that spilled over into his family, deeply caring for those around him and always eager to share a laugh or a story.

He is survived by his cherished daughters, Darlene (Allen) Clonts and Michele Driggers, along with his grandchildren, Christopher Gainey, Brett Driggers, Heather Webber, and Tyler Woodruff. Three sisters, Gladys Dunn (Frank, deceased), and Emma Caldwell (Chuck, deceased), Gloria Roberts (Paul). His legacy continues through his 13 great-grandchildren who will fondly remember the joyful moments spent with him, as well as two stepchildren Gina Taylor and Nathan Smith.

Charles was preceded in death by, brothers Gerald, Harry, and Earl, along with his loving sister Veronica Roby (Cal), and Pamela Bass (Kenneth).

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Charles's life at the Thompson Funeral Home located at 4720 Augusta Road in Lexington, SC.
