Robert W. "Bill" Fouche, 95, of Springdale, SC passed away April 7, 2025. He was born on October 18, 1929 in Columbia, SC to the late John Hughie and late Martha Ruth Fouche.
Bill graduated from Columbia High School and served in the US Navy (Submarines-during the Korean War). He owned/operated White Rock Service Company for a number of years and retired in Chapin, SC. Bill was a member of Masonic Lodge Boyleston #123 in Irmo and the Dolorosa Worship Center, Pelion SC. He loved gardening, was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan and enjoyed spending summers fishing, shrimping and crabbing on "the island" (Lady's Island, SC).
Bill was a loving husband to the late Elsie "Elaine" Fouche, He was predeceased by sons Bobby, late wife Elizabeth (children Kenneth & Melissa) Jack (child Mark) and Roy (wife Renee and children Cindy, Christie, Charlie, and Carrie). He is survived by sons Randy Fouche, late wife Linda (children Ryan, Kevin and Lee) and John Fouche (wife Cheryl and child Megan). Bill was great grandfather to 14 and great great grandfather to one.
The family will receive friends at Thompsons Funeral Home (Lexington) on Sunday, April 13 from 6pm to 8pm. A graveside service will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park (Columbia) on April 14 at 1:30pm with Pastor Stefan Dover officiating.
