Our beloved mother, sister, and aunt María Teresa (Terry) Pargas, age 70, passed away on April 5, 2025 surrounded by her family in Marana, Arizona. Terry is survived by her son Rick (Marisa), daughter Lisa (Scott), grandchildren Celina (Nick), Adrian, Antonio, Alyssa, and Raquel, sisters Dalia and Delia (Terry), and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Ricardo Pargas, parents Arnold Sr. and Hortensia (née Sotelo) Kin, and brothers Ramón and Arnold Jr. Kin.

Terry was born on October 15, 1954 in Patagonia, Arizona. She grew up in Silverbell, Arizona and was a graduate of Marana High School. Terry married the love of her life, Ricardo, on June 4, 1971. Employed with the USDA Forest Service for over 30 years Terry supported wildland firefighters.

.

She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. Her favorite place was the White Mountains where she and Ricardo loved spending their summers together with their friends and cherished dog Bella. Terry is the heart of her family. She is leaving a legacy of kindness, love, and strength that will forever shape her loved ones for generations to come.
