Jenabel “ Jebby ” Clyde Webster ( nee Faw ) 

 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jenabel “Jebby” Clyde Webster (nee Faw), 95, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Jackson County, NC, on Saturday evening, 5 April 2025. Jebby was pre-deceased by her husband Francis (Fran), parents, and a grandson Miguel Rhoades. She leaves behind five children, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren They are FRANCIS (Dolly) – Margaux (Sean) Carlin – Gavin and Grayson; Bradford (Laura); CONSTANCE (John) Rhoades – Juan (Lyndsay) – Quinn, Brodie, and Madden; Alicia – Camilla; Manuel (Emily) – Felix, Rio, and Oliver; PAUL (Suzanne) – Grant; CHERYL; MATTHEW (Diana) – Madeleine, William, and Samuel.

Jebby entered life on 27 August 1929 in Amarillo, TX to Paul David and LuSue Clyde (nee Howe) Faw. Jebby attended the University of NM and joined Chi Omega Sorority while earning a biology degree with a focus in Medical Technology. Additionally, Jebby became an active life-long member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood (Philanthropic Educational Organization) focusing on providing educational opportunities for female students worldwide. Jebby loved playing the piano, doing cross stitch, sewing, RVing across North America, her cats and dogs, entertaining, “sailing,” especially cooking and baking for family and friends, and actively participating in her church. As her children grew, Jebby returned to work in Pontiac and then transitioned to Sylva, NC Harris Regional Hospital until retirement.

She and Fran married on 27 November 1952 in Albuquerque, NM beginning a long adventurous life together traveling throughout the world. They finally settled in Pontiac, MI raising their five children; relocated to Sylva, NC, and eventually retired to Denver, CO to be closer to family.

Jebby’s Celebration of Life will occur at 4:00 PM on 26 April 2025 at the Windsor Gardens Community Center in Denver, CO. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to P.E.O. at https://www.peointernational.org/make-a-gift/.
