Trevor Daniel Pitts

Trevor Daniel Pitts, 34, passed away on April 11, 2025, in Summerville, South Carolina. Born on December 9, 1990, in Richmond, Virginia, Trevor brought creativity and warmth into the lives of those who knew him. Trevor was a man of many talents and passions. He had a deep love for the game of pool and could often be found at the table with a cue in hand, focused and precise. A strategic thinker, he also enjoyed playing chess, always ready for a challenge that tested his mind. In the kitchen, Trevor found joy in cooking—crafting meals that reflected both care and creativity. His artistic abilities were remarkable; he was an amazing artist whose work captured emotion and imagination in equal measure. Trevor’s life was enriched by the love and support of his family. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Diena Gavit; his pops, Shannon Gavit; and his father, Leslie Pitts III (Nancy Pitts). He shared strong bonds with his siblings: Joshua Pitts (Chelsay Pitts), Alex Pitts, Dylan Pitts (McKenna Brooks), Austin Gavit, and Ashley Gavit. Trevor also held a special place in the hearts of his nieces Abbie Pitts and Carlee Pitts, as well as his nephew Levi Pitts. He was cherished by his grandparents Jimmy and Edna Hedgepeth and will be fondly remembered by his uncle Richard Hedgepeth. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, located at 281 Treeland Dr Suite C in Ladson, South Carolina. Trevor’s memory will live on through the art he created and the lives he touched. May his spirit continue to inspire those who knew him.
