Jane Delane Brandon Allen
Born October 24th, 1954, in Marysville, Ca
Parents Delmar Russell and Zelma Lorene (Dotson) Brannan.
Lived early life in Challenge, California. Where she started school. Family moved to Yuba City, California where she completed elementary school.
Move to Idaho in 1967. Graduated glenns ferry high School 1973.
Married Frank Leroy Allen on Oct. 12, 1974
Jane was a hard worker and was appreciated by her employers which included diamond laundry, Magic West potato plant, Rti Rural telephone company and Napa Auto parts.
She had a big heart for animals and people alike. She loved camping, fishing, and any activities that her children and grandchildren were involved in. Her grandchildren would describe her as funny, outgoing and very supportive. She was like a second mom and grandmother too many. She couldn't turn away a stray and would spoil her grandchildren every chance she got.
Survived by daughter Heather Allen, son Russell (Rocio) Allen. Sister Joanne (Ward) Rulien. Janet Brannan, grandchildren Harlie Allen, Daisy (Tarin) Gregory, Lily Allen, Chad Allen, Devin Hodge, Evan Allen, Max Allen, William Allen, and Aiden Allen, as well as nieces and nephews. Also survived by dear friend Rita Jacobson and Marge Harlan.
Proceeded in death by her husband Frank Allen. Parents Lorene and Delmar Brannan. Brother James Brannan.
Frank and Janie will be laid to rest at a graveside service on May 10th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Glenn Rest cemetery in Glenns Ferry Idaho. Followed by a celebration of life at the Glenns Ferry VFW Hall.

As the only funeral home in Elmore County, the staff at Rost Funeral Home work hard to be active members of the Mountain Home community and to be there to take care of families in every way possible when the need arises. Our funeral home opened in 2005 when Jerry and Janette Rost purchased the business. We’ve continued to grow along with Mountain Home. Jerry’s career began more than fifty years ago in Boise, and along the way, he acquired an 1897 horse-drawn funeral carriage, which we proudly display in our facility....
