September 27th, 1960 - March 16th, 2025
Mary Elizabeth “Charlie” Hemmerling, 64, of Springfield, MO passed away on March 16, 2025 from natural causes while vacationing in Arizona, where she was visiting family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry L. Knocke and Margeret Erline Flint, husband, Jerry Lee Hemmerling, sister Pamela Kuehnert, brother Rick Knocke, and sister Jackie Stringfellow. Charlie is survived by step-children, Barbara Millard, John Hemmerling, and Melissa Bethurem, granddaughters, Angela Grant and Elizabeth Bethurem and grandsons, Jakob Hemmerling and Joseph Hemmerling, two great-granddaughters and a plethora of friends that will forever miss her generous nature. Charlie was born September 27th, 1960 in Springfield, MO. She grew up in Arizona and later relocated to Springfield, MO. Charlie and Jerry were married for over 30 years when he passed. She worked in the food service industry and loved her animals. She spent her life helping others and worshiping the Lord. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
