December 4th, 1936 - April 8th, 2025
AFTER THE DEATH OF HER HUSBAND JACK, ROSE WAS LIVING IN BELLEVIEW,FLORIDA WITH HER SON DALE FOR MANY YEARS. TWO YEARS AGO, ROSE WAS NOLONGER ABLE TO CARE FOR HERSELF, AND WENT INTO A LONG TERM CARE FACILITYIN OCALA, FLORIDA. AT 88 YEARS OLD, ROSE PASSED AFTER A BATTLE WITH CANCER.
SHE LEAVES BEHIND 3 CHILDREN: SUZETTE (TIM) CORNELL, CYNTHIA (JIM) MAHER,CHARLES DALE GEE, AND SON- IN LAW ED TACKABURY.
ROSE HAD DIFFERENT JOBS IN HER LIFE, BUT HER BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT WASAS A SEAMSTRESS. SHE WAS VERY TALENTED. SO COULD JUST MEASURE YOU ANDFIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE A GARMENT. SHE LOVED COUNTRY AND WESTERNMUSIC. HER FAVORITE WAS HANK WILLIAMS. WHENEVER HE SANG, SHE WOULD SAY“THAT’S MY MAN”. ROSE LOVED PUZZLE BOOKS, SHOPPING IN “HER CATALOGUES”AND HARD BUTTERSCOTCH CANDIES. SHE COULD EAT THE WHOLE BAG IN NO TIME.
SHE LEAVES BEHIND HER GRANDCHILDREN: KERRY TULLY, TOSANNA (JUSTIN)THOMAS, KOLETTE (GLEN) NEWCOMB, CHRISTOPHER (TRISHA) REGAN, BRIAN(STACEY) MAHER, ERIC (SARAH) MAHER, TAMMY (JOSEPH) EWING, JAYLEENTACKABURY (CHARLES DUSENBERY), EDDIE (JOZETTE) TACKABURY, JESSICA (RYAN)SMITH, CAREY McCRARY, SHAWN MILLER, DUANE MILLER, JEREMY WRIGHT, ANDGLORIA ( ANTHONY) MIMMS.
25 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, 5 GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN:
SHE WAS PREDECEASED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, HER HUSBAND JACKSEVRENCE, HER SON MICHAEL GEE, DAUGHTER LYN TACKABURY, DAUGHTER-IN-LAWTINA GEE, GRANDSONS MICHAEL CARR AND BILL REGAN. HER BROTHER STANLEYSTEEL AND SISTERS JOY MOODY AND LORRAINE STONE.
