Delores Jean Dearborn
November 10th, 1940 - April 15th, 2025
Delores Jean Willhoite Dearborn, 84, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Delores was born on November 10, 1940 to the late Edgar B. and Edna L. Willhoite in Owingsville, KY. After graduating from Franklin Co. High School in 1959 she married David Mildon Dearborn in 1965. She was a follower of Christ and loved Bible studies with friends and fellow church members.
Delores is survived by her children, Cherie Shields (Doug) and David A. Dearborn (Christy); 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Jensen, and Jonah Shields, Jackson and Drew Dearborn; her two sisters, Kim Hargis of Louisville and Florence Osborne of Frankfort.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David, of 40 years; and her 2 brothers, Willis and Robert Willhoite.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Pastor Joshua Rayborn officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Joshua Shields, Jonah Shields, Drew Dearborn, Willis Willhoite, Rusty Willhoite, and Michael Hargis. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care or a charity of your choice.
