Maria Cecilia Morales
November 22nd, 1955 - April 14th, 2025
"A beautiful soul is never forgotten, just remembered with great love".Maria Cecilia Morales, 69, of Mesa, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025, surrounded by family who loved her entirely. She is survived by her sons, Rodrigo Leyva, Jose Leyva, Enoch Villa, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Maria was born on November 22, 1995, in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, to Leobardo Antonio and Ramona (Vega) Morales.Maria was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She had the most welcoming heart and soul, the most courageous smile, and had so much love and care for anyone she would come across. Her love was like no other. When she loved, she loved with everything in her, her love was unconditional. She was one of a kind; getting to be in her presence for even a second was an absolute blessing. She would make the tiniest of tears turn into the biggest of smiles. Her hugs were one in a million; seeing her and being around her was everything. She had this special love for cooking and was always making something good for her family to enjoy. Cooking was definitely her love language because she cooked whenever she got a chance. She always had something new cooking every time we would come over, her specialty was definitely her tamales. Despite any challenges she went through and whatever obstacles life threw in her path, she had nothing but a smile on her face. She persevered through the biggest of scars and the worst of pains, and still managed to continue living her life to the fullest. She was so full of life, the saddest of days turned into the brightest ones when you would talk to her. She could make you laugh in any possible situation without even trying to. She was definitely one of a kind; she was someone you looked up to, someone you wanted to surround yourself with. Maria was someone you could depend on, the best shoulder to lean on, and a person to go to for comfort. She would make the funniest of jokes or would give the best advice depending on the situation. She made life worth living, she made the world a better place. The darkest of times, she made the most fulfilling. No matter what she was going through, she was always there for everyone else. But that was no surprise because that's just the kind of person she was.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 25, 2025 at Legacy Funeral Home Rose Chapel, 1130 S. Horne, Mesa, Arizona with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM.
Concluding services are private.
