Sharon Joyce Runcorn

In Loving Memory of Sharon Joyce (Clary) Runcorn July 6, 1947 – March 19, 2025 

Sharon Joyce Runcorn, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away March 19, 2025 at the age of 78. 

Born on July 6, 1947 to Dale and Bonna (Franklin) Clary she was the eldest of two sisters and grew up with kindness and warmth that she carried throughout her life. On March 10, 1967, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Michel Runcorn, and together they built a life in Payette where they raised their children Mat and Angie, and later her four grandchildren that brought her pride and joy.

 She devoted 47 years to her career in cosmetology, working in Payette, where she became a trusted and familiar face to many in the community. Her clients knew her not just for her skill and dedication, but for her listening ear until her retirement in 2013. 

Outside of work, she found happiness in crafting, sewing, camping, and time spent with Mike and family along the Oregon coast. Her hands were always busy making something beautiful, and her quiet strength brought comfort to everyone close to her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Mike and nephew Michel A. Bain. She is survived by her son Mathew (Peggy), daughter Angie, grandchildren Gaage, Aubbrey, Maggie and Paige. Sisters Pam Pettis, Patty Barber, Sister In-Law Marilyn Clemons, Krysten Cox, nieces and nephews all of whom will miss her deeply and carry her memory with love. 

A service will be held to honor her life at 1:00pm April 27, 2025 in Payette at Shaffer Memory Chapel with a celebration to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Donate Life Northwest. PO Box 532, Portland Oregon 97207
