William "Bill" Holland
March 20th, 1960 - April 13th, 2025
William “Bill” Holland, 65, went to glory on April 13, 2025. He was born on March 20, 1960, in Joliet, Illinois but grew up mostly in Tennessee. He enlisted in the Navy at eighteen where he served as a nuclear engineer. He continued into a career at the State Department.
He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Heather Holland; his four children: Charles Holland, Sharis Holland, Grace Holland, and Elisabeth Holland; and his grandchildren: Scarlett Johnson, Fenix Holland, Shara Stone, Tommy “TJ” Huntley Jr., and Myles Stone; and his sister, Teresa Holland. He will always be remembered for his unfailing honesty and integrity.
Friends and family are invited to Shield of Faith Church on April 25, 2025. The viewing will begin at 10 AM and the service at 11 AM.
“But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
