William "Bill" Carl Randall

Mr. William “Bill” Carl Randall, age 87, a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Winter Haven Hospital surrounded by family. Mr. Randall was born on December 7, 1937, in Richwood, Ohio to Zane Baker and Christa L. (Swartz) Randall. He was a resident of Auburndale since 1980, coming from Coldwater, Ohio. Bill was a Radiologist at Gibbons Hospital in Celina, Ohio until 1980, when they closed. He also worked as a postal carrier from 1975 to 1980, until his move to Auburndale, Florida. Bill worked as the Chief Radiologist at Bartow Hospital and then moved to Winter Haven Hospital as Chief Radiologist until his retirement. While in Ohio, he also was the Owner and Operator of two different laundromats, one in Celina, the other in his hometown of Coldwater. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving his fishing and hunting on his farms, both in Ohio and Georgia. Also, going on different hunting and fishing expeditions throughout the country and Central America. Bill loved to travel all over the world with his wife Donna and sometimes with other family. He also enjoyed playing in the stock market. Bill was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Auburndale where he sang in the choir, senior group and served on several church committees. Also, a member of Scouts, Lions Club, Kiwanis, Celina Masonic Lodge 241, Old Timer’s Coffee Club and A & E Fishing Club. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Donna of 62 years; 2 sons – Douglas J. Randall and Brad Alan Randall; grandson – Isaac Randall; sister – Doris Ritchie; brother in laws – Don Ransome & Hal Ritchie and niece – Kim Ransome Asbury. Bill is survived by his loving family, son – Kent W. (Kelli) Randall; daughter in law – Connie M. Randall; 6 grandchildren – Chris (Becca) Randall, Gayle (David) Heindel, Tatiana (Jimmy) Carman, Kyle (Renee) Randall, Mindy (Caleb) Schaadt and Joscelyn Randall wife of Isaac; 24 great grandchildren; nephew – Chris (Becky) Ransome; great nephew – Evan Ransome and great niece – Christa Green. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, April 25th at the First United Methodist Church, 316 Lake Ariana Blvd., Auburndale. Visitation will be held before from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the church. Memorial services and inurnment will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 3rd at the Grand Lake United Methodist Church, 119 East Fulton Street, Celina, Ohio. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held before from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the church.
