Santina Julian

Santina Julian, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born on August 25, 1932, and was a proud member of the Italian-American community.

Santina was preceded in death by her parents, Vincenzo and Rose Longo Polifronio, alongside her siblings. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Roseanne Pittman (James), Maria Martin (John), and Lisa Julian (Michael Struzzieri), who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Santina finds solace in the hearts of her grandchildren: Anthony Lawell (Amanda), Adam McDaniel (Cassie Conley), Julian Lannigan (Kate Ourada), and Lauren Lannigan Sheppard (Jamie Sheppard), as well as her great-grandchildren: Laila Santina Vernoski, Zoey Gray Sheppard, Carson Emory, Michael Wade McDaniel and Julian Lawell. 

A dedicated chef, Santina owned and operated Santina's Italian in Warner Robins, GA, on Watson Blvd. then an additional location in Macon, GA off of Vineville Ave. Her culinary talents were well-known in the community, as she enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, sharing not just meals but also a love that transcended beyond the dinner table.  After successfully defeating cancer, Santina reopened Santina's Italian that also included a bakery, in Warner Robins, GA off Russell Parkway. Santina was a vivacious soul—kind, loyal, and energetic—who cherished her Christian faith and loved her trips back to Italy, where her heart always lingered.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Following this, a celebration of her life will take place in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, beginning at 3:00 PM. Santina Julian's radiant spirit and boundless love will forever remain in the hearts of the many lives she touched.
