Justin Carl Williams

  Justin Carl Williams, 40, passed away on April 10, 2025. Born in Cedar Rapids Iowa, Justin was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was known for his warm smile and sharing spirit. Justin was christened after birth, was comforted by religion many times, and was baptized. He encouraged his family to attend church.

   Justin’s youth was full of optimism and helping others. His grade school teachers mentioned his kind, sharing spirit. He always loved visiting Grandparents Wayne and Corene in Kansas, and Carl and Hazel in Gladbrook Iowa.  After graduating high school, Justin began college work in a nursing school. He also began intense physical workouts which resulted in severe back trauma. He required Lumbar Vertebrae Fusion back surgery, which limited his work ability.  In pain, he was using prescribed medicine, but after twenty years they may have led to nodding-off symptoms.  Weeks before death he was injured in a single-car accident, airbags deployed, and he suffered fractured ribs. He refused hospital care because he wanted to recover at his home. Just hours before passing Justin stated how much he loved his family.

   Justin was preceded in death by Grandpa Charles Wayne Williams and Grandma Martha Corene (Lovett) Williams, Grandpa Carl Frederick Hof and Grandma Hazel Jeanne (Eckhart) Hof.    Justin is survived by his parents: Mark Wayne Williams and Diana (Rushing) Williams, and Mother Sheryl (Hof) Williams Sloss. He is also survived by Brother Brandon Williams and his wife Stephanie, and Sister Ashley (Williams) Jezik and her husband John, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

   A Memorial Service will be held at The Springs Funeral Services. Justin will be buried at South Lawn Cemetery, Severy, Kansas.
