God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you, and whispered "come with me".

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Thelma "Rita" Frayler, born on May 13, 1941, in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. On April 17, 2025, she departed this life peacefully in Lake Placid, Florida, surrounded by the love of her family. Rita was a beacon of kindness and generosity, radiating energy and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her loyal and considerate nature made her a cherished friend and confidante, and her honesty endeared her to many. Rita’s zest for life was evident in her passions, particularly her dedication to her church community and her love for gardening, where she tended to her plants with the same care and nurturing spirit she showed to those around her. Rita is predeceased by her parents, Jose Alvaro Carlo Arroyo, Angelica Acosta Pabon, and siblings, Jose Carlo Acosta, Luis Carlo Acosta, Willie Carlo Acosta, and her Husband, Robert Frayler. She is survived by her siblings, Juan Carlo Acosta, Migdonio Carlo Acosta, Angelica Carlo Acosta, and her beloved children, including Eric Amengual, Eileen Brigantino, Cynthia Piper, and Stephanie Burns, and numerous grand children and great-grand children. All will forever hold her memory in their hearts. A ceremony celebrating Rita’s remarkable life will be held at the Sun City Center Funeral Home, located at 1851 Rickenbacker Dr, Sun City Center, FL 33573. Friends and family are invited to join us on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. as we honor her legacy and share cherished memories, followed by a continued celebration of her life at her Son, Eric's home. As we gather to remember Rita, let us carry forward her spirit of generosity and kindness in our own lives, ensuring that her legacy of love continues to thrive.
