May 24th, 1946 - April 17th, 2025
Mary A. Mosier, 78, of Lexington, and wife of Thomas M. “Dusty” Mosier passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025. She was born to the late Alfred T. Cilento and Clementine Dutrow Cilento on May 24, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York. She moved to Lexington in 2021. She was a member of the Catholic Christian faith. Mary and Dusty have been married for 51 glorious years.
In addition to her devoted husband, Mary is survived by one daughter, Heather Marie (Paul) Discombe, and their son Nathan; two sons, Daniel Thomas Mosier and Michael Patrick Mosier; one brother, John (Lisa) Cilento; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and additional family members.
Mary was a high school graduate. She rose to the position of assistant manager at Hills Supermarkets on Long Island, New York; a position she held for fifteen years. The job she was most proud of was her work as a handicapped bus aide. She served Minisink Valley School District (NY) in that role for nineteen years.
She enjoyed the art and craft of decoupage. Mary was a New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers fan and she and Dusty held New York Islanders tickets for sixteen years.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 24th at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville, Kentucky: celebration of life service at 2:00 pm; celebration of life gathering until 5:00 pm. Casual attire is encouraged.
